Coding Dojo LMS Curriculum Management System (2022, being developed)

Problems to solve

The old Curriculum Management feature was out-dated and so inefficient that it became a roadblock for us to white-lable our LMS. We needed to overhaul the hierarchy management and content editor to tackle complex workflow problems, so the new design becomes intuitive and powerful enough for our users.

Solution & Outcome

We fully redesigned the system by rebuilding the hierarchy management view and adding in other features needed by users, for example, content preview and asset duplication, to empower our users to the maximum extent.

Learn Platform E-Learning (2022, being developed)

The company is partnering with an external partner to provide a self-support-learning business model. Our traditional model has been bootcamp instruction, in which instructors’ presence is heavily required. But for the new model, students will need a platform powerful enough so that they can go through the lectures all by themselves, without having to get any support from an instructor.

Solution & outcome

I designed the user end of the LMS to provide a self-support version to the new program. Highlights including Live Lecture Schedule, Personal Learning Stats and Course Introduction. Based on our user research, these features are the most needed features in terms of supporting our students in this new model.

This design has helped the company win a contract that contributes to 25% of the company’s yearly revenue.
